Report a Violation
If a user or content is violating our guidelines — let us know. We take every report seriously.
When Should You Report?
Please report if you encounter any of these:
- Received messages containing harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
- Saw content with hate speech, discrimination, or insults.
- A listing appears fake, fraudulent, or misleading.
- Inappropriate sexual content, nudity, or content endangering minors.
- Illegal product/service listings (drugs, weapons, forged documents, etc.).
- A user is trying to redirect you off the app to request payment.
- Fake accounts, stolen photos, or identity theft.
- Spam or repetitive irrelevant messages.
- Intellectual property infringement (unauthorized use of your content).
- Doxxing (unauthorized sharing of your personal info).
In emergencies: For physical threats or criminal situations, first call your local emergency line (155 Police / 112 Emergency in Türkiye), then report to us.
How to Report
Method 1 — In the App (Recommended)
The fastest and most effective way is to report within the app:
- Go to the profile or listing you want to report.
- Tap the ⋮ (More) menu in the top right.
- Select "Report" or "Complain".
- Choose the violation type from the list (spam, harassment, fake listing, etc.).
- Write a brief description — what happened and when.
- Attach a screenshot if you have one.
- Submit.
Method 2 — By Email
For serious matters, or if you can't access the app, email us directly:
- General violations: support@hadiyapalim.app
- Security / emergencies: security@hadiyapalim.app
- Legal / copyright: legal@hadiyapalim.app
What to Include in Your Report
Provide as much information as possible for a fast review:
- Username or profile link of the violating user
- Title or ID of the relevant listing (number shown in-app)
- Type of violation (harassment, fake listing, spam, etc.)
- Brief description: what happened and when
- Screenshots or message copies if available
- Your contact info (optional; you can also report anonymously)
How the Process Works
- Acknowledgment (within 24 hours): You'll receive automated confirmation that your report has been received.
- Initial review (1–3 business days): Our team evaluates the report. Urgent cases (harassment, threats, child safety) are prioritized.
- Detailed review (up to 3–7 business days when needed): Complex cases receive deeper review. During this time, the relevant content/account may be temporarily disabled.
- Decision and action: If the violation is confirmed, we apply a warning, content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. Criminal matters are reported to authorities.
- Result notification: When your report is resolved, you'll get a response (some details may be limited due to privacy).
Privacy and Anonymity
- Your identity is never disclosed to the other party.
- Your report content is shared only with the review team.
- You can report anonymously, but we won't be able to update you on the outcome.
False or Malicious Reports
The reporting system exists to protect the community — not to unfairly silence others. Accounts that intentionally file false, defamatory, or harassment-motivated reports will be:
- Warned
- Suspended for repeated offenses
- Permanently closed in serious cases
Don't hesitate if you're unsure — we'll evaluate and decide. But report only when you see a clear violation, not just suspicion.
Appealing a Decision
If action was taken against you and you'd like to appeal:
- Write to support@hadiyapalim.app.
- Use subject line: "Appeal - [Your account name]".
- Explain why you think the action was unfair.
- Attach supporting evidence if you have any.
Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days.
Our Legal Obligations
We are legally required to report the following to the relevant authorities:
- Child abuse, child sexual exploitation material
- Terrorism propaganda or support
- Serious physical threats or incitement to violence
- Court orders or legal requests
